Ravensara Essential Oil
Odor: characteristic Use: Although the chemistry is somewhat different, Ravensara Essential Oil has similar uses to both eucalyptus globulous and tea tree. The aroma is camphoraceous fresh, a little herbaceous and somewhat woody sweet. The major constituents of ravensara are limonene, methyl-eugenol and methyl-chavicol and as such this material should be well diluted prior to use. Obtained by steam distillation of the leaves, pale yellow white in colour and of a pourable viscosity. |

Odor: characteristic Use: Ravensara aromatica oil, not to be confused with Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora), has a spicy, herbal, slightly fruity, camphoraceous aroma. Ravensara aromatica oil blends well with Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Black Pepper, and Frankincense. It's very important to note that, due to its potency, Ravensara should be used with caution.
