Life Essentials - Botanicals Odor: characteristic Use: Extrapone® Rooibos GW contains a rooibos extract prepared in glycerin and water. Rooibos is a plant that is native to and cultivated in South Africa. The branches of the bush are harvested and comminuted; the plant material is moistened and then crushed to induce fermentation. The substance is layered outdoors to ferment over night and then dried in the sun. Rooibos is extracted with water and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated via distillation, prepared in a mixture of water, glycerin, and preservatives and clear filtered after an individual ripening time.
1 kg of Extrapone® Rooibos GW contains the water-soluble components of approx. 0.135 kg dry respectively 1 kg fresh rooibos leaves.

Neo Actipone® Organic Rooibos
Life Essentials - Botanicals Odor: characteristic Use: Neo Actipone® Rooibos is a preservative free powder containing the spray-dried extract of organic Aspalathus linearis leaves prepared with organic maltodextrin. Rooibos used for our Neo Actipone® is organically cultivated in South Africa. The leaves are harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted. The fresh leaves are pressed to start natural fermentation, followed by drying in blazing sunshine. The dried rooibos leaves are aqueously extracted and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation, mixed with organic maltodextrin and carefully spray-dried.
The used rooibos as well as maltodextrin meet the requirements of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 and the following for organic agriculture. Raw Material certified by Ecocert Greenlife France according to the Ecocert Standard for Natural and Organic Cosmetics available at http://www.cosmetics.ecocert.com.

1 kg Neo Actipone® Organic Rooibos contains the aqueous ingredients of approx. 0.4 to 0.5 kg dried rooibos leaves respectively of approx. 3 to 4 kg fresh rooibos leaves.
