Odor: characteristic Use: Damiana essential oil is produced by steam distillation from the leaves of this small shrub during the flowering season. The two types of species commonly offered are turnera diffusa and turnera aphrodisiaca. Both are regarded as the same plant in the herbal world. Turnera ulmifolia, a closely related species is similar in appearance, but it has different traditional medicinal uses. |
