Cardamom Absolute
Odor: characteristic Use: Eleonora Scalseggi has this to say “A spice favourite of many, cardamom is commonly offered as an essential oil and much more rarely as an absolute material. Cardamom absolute is of course a cardamom material, warm spicy yet fresh with light eucalyptus nuances. The absolute offering however is much warmer, woodier and sweeter and has much more body and complexity than any essential oil material. |

Cardamom Absolute
Odor: Spicy Woody Fruity Use: Coming from the Malabar coast, cardamom grows on a bush from the same botanical family as ginger. It is the most expensive spice in the world after saffron and vanilla. The bush is extremely sensitive to climate conditions and diseases and has a variable production, giving fruits only every two or three years. Dried seeds are either used as such in culinary applications or distilled to obtain a beautiful essence often used in masculine fragrances. |
