Life Essentials - Botanicals Odor: characteristic Use: Extrapone® Melissa is an extract of dried melissa herb, prepared in water, propylene glycol and preservatives. Melissa (Melissa Officinalis L.) used for our Extrapone® is mainly cultivated in Eastern Europe. The melissa herb is harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted, aqueously extracted (maceration/percolation) and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation, prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time.
1 kg Extrapone® Melissa contains the aqueous soluble ingredients of approx. 0.20 kg dried melissa herb respectively approx. 1,33 kg fresh melissa herb.

Life Essentials - Botanicals Odor: characteristic Use: Neo Extrapone® Organic Melissa is a preservative free powder containing the spray-dried extract of organic Melissa officinals L. leaves prepared with organic maltodextrin. Melissa used for our Neo Extrapone® is organically cultivated mainly in Europe. The leaves are harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted, aqueously extracted and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by evaporation, mixed with organic maltodextrin and carefully spray-dried. The used melissa as well as maltodextrin meet the requirements of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 and the following for organic agriculture. Raw Material certified by Ecocert Greenlife France according to the Ecocert Standard for Natural and Organic Cosmetics available at http://www.cosmetics.ecocert.com.
100 % of the total ingredients proceed from organic farming.
1 kg Neo Extrapone® Organic Melissa contains the aqueous ingredients of approx. 0.2 kg dried melissa leaves respectively of approx. 1 to 2 kg fresh melissa leaves.
